SETTING
Achalochan House is a recently built B&B establishment situated on the edge of Loch Bracadale looking onto Macleods Tables and the Black Cullins.We are just a short drive from Portree (Skye's Capital) and close to Dunvegan Castle and other must see places, such as Neist Point
Lighthouse, the Coral Beaches of Claigan and Talisker Distillery.

ACCOMMODATION
We aim to provide First Class Accommodation and service at B&B tarriff. Achalochan House is fitted to the highest standards throughout.
1 Double/Family room en-suite with walk in power shower King-size Four Poster Bed.
1 Double Bedroom with private bathroom with bath and seperate shower.
All rooms have Sky TV/DVD, Tea/Coffee making facilities, Hair Dryers, Alarm Clock, Central Heating and great views.
Guest lounge has large patio window, Sky TV, and views over Loch Bracadale. Internet Access and Washing/Drying services are available.
Breakfast to your own requirements. Full hearty Scottish cooked breakfast or Continential. (Vegetarian option is also available) Time flexible.
We are happy to give advice on local restaurants, and help arrange dinner bookings.
We can provide transport to/from any dinner engagment.

We are situated in a quiet rural location, which is ideal for exploring North/Central Skye. Achalochan House is 13 miles from Portree (Skye's capital) and 5 miles from Dunvegan.
This area has great walks and spectacular scenery, from sheer sea cliffs toTable Top Mountains and the stunning Neist Point.
DUNVEGAN has it's famous castle (Seat of the Clan Macleod) And the Giant Macaskill Museum, also sight-seeing boat trips and some excellent bars and restaurants. The world renowned Three Chimneys Restaurant is 3 miles from Dunvegan.
Adjacent to Achalochan House there is excellent sea and river fishing to be had. We have a range of leisure equipment for guest use.(mountain bikes, fishing rods, ball games, etc). Our garden is generally free from the dreaded midgie due to it having a midge buster machine.

From Portree take the A87 towards uig for 400 metres then left onto the B885 to wards struan / bracadale after approx 9 miles turn right at junction onto theA863 towards Dunvegan, after 3 miles the b+b is sign posted right off this road

From the Skye bridge take the A87 towards portree after 25 miles turn left onto the A 863 at Sligachan, heading for Duvegan, after 18 miles [approx] the b+b is sign posted right off this road
